Reading fortnight

 It was indeed a reading festival organized by the ZoAns this year.. the competitions focused all..kids, students, teachers and parents

As part of the Reading week observance, the department of Zoology organised 4 competitions, 2 intercollegiate ( drawing, review), one meant for kids below 10yrs ( poetry recitation), 1 for teachers and parents( aaswadana kurippu) 

Environment Day

 This year's Environment day celebs splashed... a week filled with programs.  The intercollegiate essay contest, photography, elocution contest, quiz competition and the campaign wherein we had 7, 20, 5, 12, and 56 participants respectively

Ecosystem study

 A walk to the Iringole kaavu... it was a memorable day, filled with fun moments and learning experiences for all 18 students and me. The floral and faunal diversity of the preserved area in our vicinty was really amazing. Butterfly, earthworms, dragonflies of different forms and colours were seen.  the tree boring arthropods also caught our attention. we did spot a few rare colorful spider in our trip.

Ist e-magazine released

 Under the leadership of Aleena George of 2nd Zoology, the 1st e-zine of MTCW was released on March 15, 2021. Principal Dr. Gigi George released the e-magazine in which 65 students participated
